Did you follow the work of Roger Ebert?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
Roger Ebert, the famous movie reviewer, passed away today. He lived a pretty amazing life and kept going even after cancer took his voice. Did you follow his movie reviews or work? RIP Roger.

That was sad news today, after just recently - yesterday, maybe? - he'd announced he was taking a break from writing. I loved the fact that he enjoyed Evil Dead 2 Silly thing to remember, I know.

We was a mighty fine writer; he had a strong voice and knew how to use it. RIP, Mr. Ebert.

It's so sad, first Gene Siskel, and now it's his turn.

I'm old enough to remember "At The Movies", the show he did with Siskel back in the the 80s. Two thumbs up! I kinda liked it, but I found their picks weren't often in line with my taste in movies. It's sad that they're both gone now.

I did follow his and Gene's work for many years and liked his reviews on movies. He will be missed.

His taste in movies was pretty close to mine, so I usually sought out his reviews. I'll miss seeing his Netflix Instant recommendations, which always seemed to be at the top of my Facebook feed whenever I thought to check on it.

I didn't read all of his reviews. I did read some when they interested me though. I also followed him on twitter and Facebook. I was a fan and was very saddened by his death.

I knew who he was and would read occasional reviews, but I wasn't an avid fan. Still, it's sad to hear about someone who's meant a lot to many people passing away.

I used to see Siskel & Ebert reviews all of the time. I even used to watch the Siskel & Ebert show "At The Movies".

I used to watch Siskel and Ebert as a kid. I respect his courage and passion for movies. When I read about him being a "boob man" in one of John Waters' books, it made me like him.
