I just read my first of these, entitled Break Down. I got far more than I was expecting, as I am not typically a fan of this mystery/thriller genre! Detective Warshawski is a middle-aged, strong, smart, bold, sarcastic, and funny woman who refuses to be intimidated by enormous wealth and power.

Have you read any of these novels? I'm wanting to start with the earliest one, now, and work my way through! less
