My hubby and i watch it all the time
03/12/2012
I hated it and ended my subscription.
03/12/2012
I liked it, but I wish they got new releases it seems like they wait forever to play newer movies...I think its some what of a waste of money
03/12/2012
I've never tried it, but was thinking about trying it. Just not sure I have time to watch it really. Sometimes tho' I do wish I could just relax and watch a good movie.

We use it a TON. We watch movies on there a LOT, a ton of documentaries, and then some of my favorite TV shows. One thing that gets frustrated is that at least half of the movies we want to watch are on DVD only, so we don't get to see them. (We only stream.) But we enjoy it enough that it's still worth the $8 a month to us. (At least for now.) We end up watching a lot of really bad B-movies, and laughing our heads off!

I don't really watch DVDs anymore... So Netflix is pretty cool with the unlimited streaming option. I was reading something about the stars contract ending, and the percentage of available content being streamed vs the amount supplied by Starz was a pretty small percentage. Also, Netflix can still license any Starz content, but on an individual basis (like I am assuming they do with many others), they just don't have the same wide open blanket contract they used to. Netflix move into hosting more TV series has shifted a large part of their streaming too.

I had a very poor customer service experience with Netflix, so I've decided not to continue my subscription due to their ineptitude.

I have been a member for three years now and I used to get the unlimited streaming and 1 DVD out at a time. I ended up canceling the DVD part and sticking just with streaming because everytime I got a DVD in, I took forever to watch it and it just was more of a hassle than anything once Redbox came out. Now that I have just streaming, I watch more TV shows than I do anything else on there and for $8.00 a month, I think it is worth it. I do think that they could charge a couple dollars more and make everything available for streaming. I would pay $10-$12 a month to be able to stream everything.

I canceled my account a while ago
03/12/2012
I didn't care for their selection for streaming, so I cancelled with them. I use Amazon's streaming service now.

I have Netflix for my kids really so they can watch whatever cartoon they want when they want it and just got the movies at home for me. So without Stars is no biggie to me.

I liked it at the beginning. But after a while I didn't enjoy it. I'm sure down the rood I will get it again. But for now I'm happy with cable.

It's worth it, just for the live rentals you can get through certain video game thingys. I have no idea what they're called. All I know is that we had a Netflix DVD rental subscription and I was keeping movies for months. Then my daughter got a Wii, and suddenly, we had Netflix on the Wii, and could watch all we wanted on our big TV! I LOVE it, as there are so many documentaries and those are my favorite movies. I don't even rent DVDs anymore. If we want to see something newer, we just get it from On Demand.

I had an account ages ago but canceled it because it just wasn't worth it for how little I ended up actually watching stuff. But I've been thinking about getting another account to be able to stream stuff through the Wii that we got for Christmas. I'm still unsure as I don't know what all's left on there, but I'm still thinking about it.

We stayed at my parents for a week watching the dog while they were on vacation. It was awful. We watch stuff that is not on there, so it totally sucked for us.
03/12/2012
I watch netflix constantly. We got rid of cable. Such a cheaper option.
03/12/2012
I still like it, but I miss when you didn't have to pay for either DVDs, streaming, or both.
03/12/2012
They could have more obscure films on demand, but otherwise, yeah, I like it and use it all the time.
03/13/2012
I still love it! Even though stars isn't there, there are still a bunch of old shows I get to watch for only $9 a month! I'll take that! I love Star Trek and they have all of the seasons instantly so I'm in love, lol.
03/13/2012
I use it pretty often.

I definitely get my moneys worth with Netflix. The kids watch a LOT of the educational videos they have through our 360 (Leap Frog, Super Why) and I watch a lot of documentaries, or old movies, movies for Eden Flicks... I've even gotten bored and watched the last season of TV shows I still watch, even though I'd already seen them!
I really haven't noticed a change with the stars contract ending, but that's just me.

I'm the same way. Lots of educational stuff, documentaries and old movies, and lots of indies. I don't even know what Starz is. I'm not a fond of "block buster" movies anyway.

I like my netflix ok. When I watch everything I like and get bored with it, I take a break and play video games for about a month, then come back later. *shrug*

It seems like most of the movies I want to watch are not available on instant watch, or they were and get taken down for some reason or another.
03/14/2012
I love Netflix's.
03/14/2012
I still like it. We don't have a cable subscription or any other tv, so it's a great substitute and works out fine for us.
03/14/2012
I am still happy with it.
03/14/2012
I have never really used it. But I dont want to wait days to get a dvd to watch.
03/14/2012
I was fine with it with the combo program, but now with the separation and the loss of a ton of their content I have a problem with it. If they had newer releases on streaming it would bring me back but, they are far to stagnate they will be dead in 2 years.
