I was but now Im not. I dont like the way theyve treated their staff. Kicking Frank Darabont for budget cuts especially. Im gonna laugh when the cast walks with him like rumors keep circulating about. AMC needs to stop treating their writers so badly, this is the 3rd time something like this has happened for another one of their biggest shows. Its sickening as someone in the industry to watch. I havent even watched the new season, and dont plan on it.

I'm way behind. I really, really wanted to like it, but it never gripped me enough. Might go back to watch the rest later.

I didn't see all of it, just the beginning (of tonight's episode) so I can't check this thread til I do, but might I say I love that show! Zombies are cool and all but usually movies and shows just don't do right by me on the effects and costumes. The Walking Dead really hit the mark!

Love the books, but the show is just taking a couple too many liberties. The writers should read the books.

The character who was turned at the end of last night's show is still around and zombie bait in the books.

I was wondering about that. I honestly probably won't do anything with the books until after the show is canceled, because I think that the show is going to be a lot better if I'm not comparing it to the books the whole time.

They always do that. But in this case, the creators are involved which I think makes it a little different. They get a chance to explore their own what ifs. I am sure in many of the original stories there were forks in the road as far as where to take various elements.

I've come back around on this. I still love the show and have learned to deal with it as a separate entity.
