Are any of you fans of this show? It's on The History Channel on Monday nights. It's about two childhood friends and coworkers, Mike and Frank, who travel around the U.S. looking for old stuff to sell.

I watch it on occasion. I think a lot of the things they find are neat.

I like it! I grew up with grandparents and parents who are into antiquing, collecting and selling. It's fun to see what kind of stuff they come by, just sitting in people's garages, collecting dust.

I have seen it but don't watch it all the time

If there is nothing else on that I like, I'll watch it. I like it.

There was one episode where they were in Tennessee, and this old Southern guy in overalls and no shirt just had a bunch of stuff stuffed in his garage (as is typical with the places they visit on the show), and they found this massive...thing, and they asked, "What's this?" And the guy very nonchalantly was like, "Oh, it's a dinosaur bone."
They weren't sure if it was real or not, but they took a gamble on it, and it turned out to be a femur from some dinosaur that was dug out of a lake bed somewhere in the state. They donated it for study and eventually, I think, to be placed in a museum.
Crazy what people have just lying around the place. My grandfather was a hoarder, and he had all kinds of stuff, just stacked to the ceiling in his house, that he'd collected his whole life. Unfortunately, there was a fire, and he lost most of it. A shame--our family tree records went up in smoke in that fire. Really a shame.

Supervixen, I saw that episode. They donated the bone to a museum. How amazing to find something. I get real irritated when they're at someone's place and the old man won't really sell them anything.
