I like the protest/social commentary style of folk music, like Phil Ochs and Roy Zimmerman. Song is a great way to spread a message and to do satire. And I find them fun to sing. Unless you mean folk music like "Jimmy Crack Corn" or traditional Irish ballads... in which case, I don't really have a 'favorite'.
