maybe 2 weeks

Usually a week into January.

Couple of days usually. Last year it went down on Boxing Day.
11/12/2012
Never. We don't put one up.
11/12/2012
Usually a week or two, I love the Christmas tree so much it's hard to take it down any earlier
11/12/2012
Always on the twelfth night after Christmas day.

I leave it up till Mardi gras. It's fake.

Ours comes down on January first. The outside decorations, however, sometimes end up staying up a lot longer
11/12/2012
Right after the Epiphany or 3 Kings Day (Jan 6)...
11/12/2012
New years Day
11/12/2012
January 1st, unless I'm tired of it. Then it comes down as soon as possible.
11/12/2012
After new years.
11/12/2012
New Years Eve--we have a tree burning party.
11/13/2012
We usually leave it for a while maybe 2, 3 weeks after.
11/13/2012
Probably about 1-2 weeks.

Usually it was New years eve day but last year we took it down the day after Christmas! With a one year old we wanted to get the house back to normal and organize all the new toys. This year...we will see.
11/13/2012
Usually a couple weeks. When I no longer feel festive.
11/13/2012
We usually take it down a few days after new year. The living room always looks so empty right after we take it down.
11/13/2012
take it down a few days later

This is when we take ours down. It's real, so the ornaments and stuff come off and then it goes out the next garbage day. The town picks them up and composts them.

If it's still doing well and not drying out and dropping needles like crazy....we keep it around a week into January...by then I'm ready to move on, clean up after the rush of the holidays and start fresh with a clean, undecorated house!

About a week, maybe 2 depending on what is going on. There has been an old saying take your Christmas Tree down before the New Year kicks in because if you dont its bad luck. You're taking all the bad things with you from last year. Which I never understood this one because alot of people resuse the same tree every year, especially an artificial one.
