Have you ever received a gift that made you wonder what the giver was thinking? Like getting a vacuum cleaner from your husband, they might have thought it was a wonderful idea but didn't think it all the way through.

I hope he never reads this--but definitely! He should stay away from the clothing and shoe aisle when shopping for me.

Oh yes, when I was younger the mother in law gave me a velvety pants set from Sears. I thought it would have been more appropriate for a grandma!!!

My aunt gave me some godawful cheetah print, fuzzy legwarmers. They were the worst thing I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure someone gave them to her and she gave them to me. Bleh.

I wouldn't say it was a bad gift, but my Aunt always gets my dad the same dollar store chocolate for the past 20 years now. I think she bought them in bulk and has just been slowly giving them out over the past few decades.

Growing up my uncles had no idea how to shop for a little girl so their gifts were always really random like a hunting shirt or one of those paddles with the ball on a rubber band.
