Whether by train, plane or automobile, do you travel to your families around Thanksgiving or Christmas? Do you love it or loathe it?
Are you traveling for the holiday season?

I don't travel and I wouldn't.

I don't but I wish I did.

Hectic work schedules mean we'll be sticking around during the holidays. I prefer to do something low-key at home anyway.

I spend Thanksgiving with my partner at the family cabin. It's a tradition I love and wouldn't give up for the world. It's great to spend time with his family and for our cat to have a chance to socialize with their dogs. It's also absolutely beautiful there.. for reference, this is the view from the back deck in the fall: link
As far as Christmas though, that changes year to year depending on work schedules. My own family is further away than my partner's and while I wish I could see them more often, holidays were never that big of a deal so no one takes it as an insult if I don't come home or anything like that.

I live in the same state as the family I spend the holidays with, but I still have to travel a few hours to get to them so I'd say yes, I travel. I don't mind it, Christmas is usually pretty pleasant and we make an effort to not fight/argue as much as usual.

We stay home and I'm okay with that

I'm not a huge fan of traveling, but don't mind it. We need to travel because we are the furthest away and everyone else is close.

Not this year. I'd like to though, I enjoy travel

This year we're flying 2000 miles to his parents house for Thanksgiving and driving 300 miles to my parents house for Christmas. I don't mind it. I love travelling

no :/

We used to travel for the holidays, but don't any longer as we've moved closer to family. Thank goodness because honestly, it was exhausting to travel that much and try to please all of our family.

Not planning on it this yr

I assume by traveling you meant a decent distance away so I voted no. We don't travel more than about 30 minutes since our family is close, but even that can be a challenge with little kids. I'm glad we don't have to go too far.

I don't have to travel that far so I don't really mind going

Luckily I have family close to me so need to travel!

I enjoy traveling at the holidays for the chance to see new people

Usually don't travel around this time of year, and don't have any plans so far.

I have to travel to spend time with my lovely boyfriend. <3 I don't mind it.

I live in Florida and there is no way I want to go north for the holidays!

Never, and I don't want to be away from my family during the holidays. However, my partner and I are taking a vacation to Panama alone this month, but it's only Halloween, not big holidays.

We don't travel and I'm happy about that!

Staying put this year and I'm very happy about it.

Wish I could travel all the time

We travel. This turkey day we aren't. But Christmas I think we are. Too early to figure that out.

I am not, but I like to

The week before Thanksgiving we go to my in-laws for a few days. We're back home by Thanksgiving night and then have Christmas here. The only thing I don't like is using my vacation time to go to my in-laws, otherwise it's okay!

I'm a bit bored of Christmas so I'd actually like to travel somewhere for a change, maybe stay in a hotel.
