Well, I got distracted and made a lemon meringue pie last night instead of gingerbread, but here's the first recipe I plan to try!

About.com usually has basic, easy-to-follow recipes and won't ad-spam you. (Unlike practically all of the other results on the first page when you google any recipe.)

It's also got a link inside the recipe where you can click to see how they suggest making a house, if you want to make a house. Hopefully I'll get a tutorial up tonight, though!

we just got a kit at meijer... so much easier! big lots has them too. and i'm sure any superstore. even with the kit though, it's no easy task! will take a few hours at least!
