I sure do. Had some while I was out to dinner.
It's EASTER. Do you do HAM?
04/08/2012
There was some available at the dinner but as a vegetarian I stayed away.

Love pork but am not a big fan of ham.
04/08/2012
I love ham!
04/08/2012
whats ham?
04/08/2012
I'm super picky about how well ham is cooked and I don't really like the honey baked hams. I prefer smoked ham. There's just no reason for us to go and get something so large for just the two of us. So we stick to either ham steaks or whatever else we feel like having.

I love ham. But we didn't have it yesterday

(Other) I used to go visit my grandpa and bring him a honey baked ham every Easter. But he passed away 2 years ago, and I don't have ham anymore on Easter....

Easter was at my Dad and Step mom's house. They had pasta, and beef and ham. I made the lambie cake. (It's traditional in our family to have a lambie cake.) I forgot to take a picture of it, but I have them from other years. (There is a pic of one of mine in the mat around the October pic (also mine) in the Eden Calendar.)
I realized yesterday my Dad is really getting old. He recently turned 75.) He looked very tired and really didn't seem to hear anything we were saying. "WHAT? Huh" The TV was on so loud, I had to keep turning it down, but he couldn't hear it.
I told him we watched The Ten Commandments Friday night (one of his favorite movies) and he said, "Oh. Who plays Moses in that?" He has been a Charlton Heston fan for as long as I can remember (his work, not his politics) and it kind of scared me that he couldn't remember this. The man is a near genius, and it's sad to see him slipping as he ages. Sorry to be downer in this thread. It just hit me really hard.
I love my Daddy and it's hard to see him getting old. Thank God my step mother is fairly young and can take good care of him.

We did not do ham this Easter, but usually do when we are with the rest of our extended family (either side).

I usually hate ham, but we have it every year for Easter. This year I actually liked it. Still has nothing on Thanksgiving's turkey though!

I will eat ham when ever I can. ummmm.

Yep, we made a ham! I'm picky about what kinds of ham I'll eat and our grocery store only gets the really good ones in around Easter, so we almost always have ham on Easter. Then we get to eat ham leftovers for a few days.

We had ham, but Im not a huge fan of ham. Especially not with the "sweet gravy" that my mother in law makes. But the rest of the food was delish

Growing up, my grandmother usually made a ham for Easter. Every blue moon, a turkey was made if everyone was bored with ham. For several years now, we haven't had a ham, mostly because only one or two people would eat it (those being my mother and my brother, who is several states away, so that only leaves my mother eating it). Ham is alright, though after having my gallbladder out years ago, I can't stand the smell of it baking or the taste. Now bacon on the other hand... OMG! *drool*.

If someone else makes it, absolutely

we don't celebrate the holiday. we celebrate Passover at this time of yr. and we really love lamb for our meal.

I worked this Easter (waitress) so no cooking or ham there, although the owner of our restaurant did get the staff a chicken for Easter. The cook roasted the thing, it was awesome.
04/10/2012
Sometimes, but for special occasions I prefer duck! You can have ham any old day.
04/10/2012
I love ham! We eat ham on almost every holiday.

I love ham for Easter. Turkey upsets my tummy, so I prefer it.
