We had a good idea it was a boy at 16 weeks when we did the ultrasound but sometimes nature can play odd tricks witht he eyes of the technician so we didn't paint the nursery all baby boy blue or anything just in case.

I am doing much better the emotional issues have sort of been put on a back burner for now and I think it's a good thing. My guys have been amazing just doing everything that needs to be done, Sigel is so experienced (we have two other children so this is all old news to him) and Arch is showing how good a father he is going to be...all the typical new father issues except the whole "I need sleep you handle it" whine.

Funny story: We had told him that boys will pee when the diaper is removed and unlike girls it is like a fire hose. Well Michael didn't do this for almost the first week so Arch relaxed and took his time cleaning his behind and getting the diaper "just right". Then it happened...the dreaded firehosing! All over Arch, all over Michael and Sigel laughing too hard to help. OMG it was funny. Well Arch would like me to point out he wasn't all that amused...

It was an easy delivery though the recovery has been a bit hard, I'm not the spring chicken I was 13 years ago when I had my first. Still I am feeling much better, the baby blues look like they aren't going to turn to postpartum depression or psychosis this time YAY!

I've missed you all and have so much to catch up on including a review I need to write so I'll get to that right now while everyone is asleep.

LOL he is starting to fill out now so unless you see his super skinny legs he looks like a preemie and less like a skinned rabbit.
