This year I am not giving anyone gifts really. Usually I make people gifts, but I have been broke and busy lately so I haven't been able to. Hoping nobody takes offense. However, I am giving one of my friend some jewelry I made and I used my points to buy her some cute things from EF that I know she'll love. She is a good friend and is making me a dress, so I felt I had to do something nice for her in return.

I drew my boyfriend some funny pictures of Skyrim for Christmas.
I also got him something from EF, but I think he'll like the homemade drawings more.

Oh yes! I do it quite often. I make handbags, jewelry, etc. I work in nail design so I make those for surprise gifts every once in a while. My family seem to really love the bags and jewelry!

I have often given away baked goods or various crafts I've made as gifts in the past, but have not for the past couple years. This is mostly due to little time between finals and the holidays (most of which I spend working).

I love making people's gifts. I think it's so much more meaningful. The past few years I've given EVERYONE knitted items, from kitchen scrubbers and towels to hats and scarves. This year, I'm a busy, broke grad student, so...I only handmade a few things. Maybe next year I'll get more creative!

We baked a ton of cookies to give as gifts. I did forget a few people, so it's nice to have a bunch of tasty cookies ready to be given as a gift.
