I don't think that's it. The King of France ordered the Knights Templar massacred on Friday the 13th in 1307.

Wellll something very bad happened to me on that day 7 years ago. But since then, nothing bad has ever happened on a friday the 13th. So I don't know, really. I believed in it for a while, just trying to justify why I had to lose the most important person to me on that day. :/

When you anniversary is April 1, then Friday the 13th, even if it comes on a Wednesday, is never a day to fear. It is a day to celebrate instead.

I kind of think that its a great set of movies and that's about it. (By the way I would love to have a vintage hockey mask!)

I'm not superstitious, and had to stand my ground to keep the 13th floor in our building from being called 12A or for a certain critical room to likewise be called 12A, not 13. Worse yet, we are in the SCIENCE business and yet folks were scared to use the number 13!!!! (Remember, Apollo 13? etc).

Anyway, logic won out there, but I MUST share one thing about the number 13. Perhaps for those who DO believe in "luck".....I was tagged with a number 13 jersey at a state track final, on, you guessed it. Friday the 13th. Oh...no, I didn't come in 13th....or break my leg. In fact, I WON!!!! When it came time for the state science fair, I was exhibit....yes, 13. Did my project bomb? Nope...went on to Nationals and got me a $10,000 scholarship.

I play the lotto all the time. Only a dollar or two per week, never more. The BIGGEST win I ever had was a 1, 3, 13 and a power ball of 13!!! Got me over $400.

SO...if you want to speak about 13...it is just as likely to be LUCKY as UNLUCKY!!!

I don't believe in it, but I play into it with my friends just to be silly. I do believe in some superstitious things, but not many at all, and for the most part it's really not something I think about often.
