My mailbox is already PACKED with Christmas Catalogs. The mall has had Christmas Decor up for a month now, and it is not even Halloween. Everyone is FIGHTING for the retail dollar. On-line merchants are ramping up sales already too.

SO.....while this may be a SKEWED group...as we have a bunch of INTERNET SAVVY people here (otherwise you would NOT be reading this, right?), where will YOU be doing your holiday shopping?

My partner's family doesn't do Christmas because it's too pagan (very amusing for me AS a pagan) and I'm estranged from my family, so I just have my partner and two friends to shop for. The two friends will be getting things off EF. My partner... I have no idea.

I like going to brick and mortar stores during the holidays for some reason. I buy most of what I can get there, and then I go online for those gifts I couldn't find in the stores.

Brick & Mortar stores (I work in a sex shop, so my discount means easy Xmas present).

However, online stores usually will make up a few gifts so we can take the sales.

I prefer to shop at an actual shop, I like to see the real thing, making sure it's perfect before buying it. The only online store I'll buy from is L.L. Bean's, since they don't have any stores on this side of the continent.

I prefer doing my shopping in store, but a lot of shops have closed down in my area, so that now we only have a couple of shops dedicated to books, CDs and DVDs (yet almost 50 clothes stores), and those stores have proceeded to up their prices, presumably because they've a monopoly on their products, with little to no competition to speak of. So, I do most of my shopping online.

I'm done christmas shopping. I use swagbucks to search and use my points to get amazon gift cards, and I get a majority of my stuff on there. Since I'm lazy and hate crowds of people I've also done a few things online and had them sent to store for pick up
