I didn't celebrate it...mostly since I'm Canadian, but I don't even celebrate the Canadian thanksgiving, just never have.

Since my family doesn't get along I usually go to the homeless shelter with my daughter and serve those in need. This year I had to work so I wasn't even able to do that which is generally the highlight of the season for me.

It was a very small, intimate gathering: just me, myself, and my husband. Everything was perfect. I made a turkey for the first time ever and it was cooked to well...perfection if I must say so myself. (Which I didn't, my husband teased me that I should take a picture to show all of you how well it turned out. Evidently the secret is LEAVE THE DAMN THING ALONE while it's in the oven.)

Actually, I was pleasantly surprised that it was calm this year. No fights or arguments of any kind.

We had a total of 9 people at my house.

Jerry Springer would have taken a nap at our house this year. There was only 3 of us which is the smallest number at our house in the last 20 years!
