I love the games. I don't have a fav athlete. only favorite sports. gymnastics and swiming.

As a British person I'm really not looking forward to the Olympics, I'm just glad I don't live in London, it's going to be chaos.

We'll watch some of it, but not all of it. I like the gymnastics, he likes the baseball/basketball stuff. But, right now we're watching Wimbledon.

I feel so badly for anyone living/working in London. There are certain places that I feel are inappropriate for events like this, and crowded cities top the list.

Wish I could be there! I love the Olympics. No favorite athletes. I just enjoy watching everyone and keeping up with the daily medal count.

I love watching the Olympics. We make a big deal of watching the opening and closing ceremonies. For opening, we'll make a meal specific to the host country for dinner. It's fun researching local cuisine and trying something new.

We can't have a lead up to the Olympics without drama, so… an Australian Olympic swimmer is getting disapproval for posting a picture of herself in…

…a designer swimsuit.

Australian Swimmer Getting Flack For Twitter Bikini Picture

It would be funny if people weren't actually suggesting she should be dropped from the Australian Olympic team because of this.

Definitely looking forward to them! I love the Olympics. Don't really have a favorite athlete, just like rooting for my country and seeing good competition.

personally, if I had to compete in the nude, all my flopping body parts (my 2 girls) would really damper my compteing
