Ok, so the day is technically for cats but let's not discriminate here! Hug your fur-children today and show them some love to let them know you appreciate having the chance to take care of them for the rest of their lives.



After you've done that, photo-bomb the hell out of this thread with pics of your animals! Bonus points for submitting a pic of you actually hugging your animals!

Or you can just tell me the cutest thing they've done today. Whichever works for you.

I have no cats, but the dogs looked sad all day. Mostly because it was raining, and they hate muddy paws .

But I did find a kitteh picture!
