Time for blogging

I am a journalism student just starting out in my B.A. and double majoring. I am a single mom of a daughter with medical problems and i have medical issues myself. I live alone so I have the up keep of a house and bills ect. I work part time and am looking for a better job. I work two internships doing stuff writing, and I model on the side.I also have learning disabilties and my grammar and spelling isn't always the best. Needless to say life is pretty busy and very hectic as I am sure most peoples are. So not to get into a sob story about how hectic my life is but I explain all that because there is literally no time at all for anything extra. But I love to write and I would love to have my own blog. so My question for those who blog is with everything life throws at you how do you find time for blogging? How do you decide what to blog about? How do you get people to read and stay interested in what your writing? Any tips please for a beginner in blogging.

I work full time, though I am currently on medical leave. I have a toddler as well. That takes up most of my time. I have a blog for sex toy reviews that I post to. I just carve time out for it. Like, my husband knows that from, say, 6pm-7:30pm I'll work on the blog or review on Eden. Sometimes I stay up late or get up early to write or edit photos. I bring my computer to work so I can work on things on my lunch break. I haven't posted in a while because of medical issues, but I'm hoping to be well enough to be back up and running soon.

I write about sex toys, because that comes easily for me. I think there's a good bit of interest in that topic inherently. I write like I talk, so I guess I'm interesting enough to keep people coming back? I dunno. I've always been good at writing, so it flows easily for me. I don't really *try* to do anything special. I'm just me, take it or leave it.

Tips for beginners would be that if you're serious - do self hosting. Learn about SEO and how to get listed in Google, Yahoo, etc. Find blogs that compile lists of other blogs in your topic and get on those lists.
