OK I decided to start a blog tonight. I have no clue what I am doing right now. So far I have a theme picked out and I have been tweaking little things here and there. I went and grabbed a widget for it but I can't figure out how to attach it to my page. I am using link . Does anyone use word press who can help me out ?
Need help getting my blog situated!

Go to the Appearance tab in the lefthand menu part of your administration panel, and click it to drop down a menu with the Widgets options. Then you should see the widget you installed ready to be dragged/dropped where you need it.

On a semi-related note, since Alan & Michele answered your question, I am SO glad that you have chosen WordPress for your CMS (content management system). It's a very powerful, robust platform that offers endless customization options thanks to thousands of plugins and widgets; but more importantly it's a much more secure option than other free CMSs out there!
