I was reading somewhere that some of the bloggers that are under EF's blogging program were actually deleting their posts after they were compensated for them. Of course, myself, I would think that the more content on your blog, the better. folks still pull that information up long after you post it! Anyways, I was wondering...how many of you have done this? Don't worry its a private poll lol.

I'm not an EF blogger but that's bullshit (I seem to be using that naughty word a lot today). They're getting compensated for the advertisement so deleting the post is extremely dishonest. If they don't want that kind of content on their blog, then they shouldn't get anything out of it.

Not a blogger. I used to delete posts on my former blog (outside EF) only when I was running out of space.

not when I am being compensated; i had one blog up for Babeland, but deleted it because they wouldn't let me review again til someone ordered from my blog. so i gave up on it.

I love to review for EF and general companies

I'm not a blogger for EF products but I have a Tumblr and I usually delete posts sometimes because they will either clutter my page or are just replies to questions/replies.

I've been compensated for about 4 posts on my blog and I've never deleted any posts. My "audience" is quite used to sex-positivity, and they pretty much all love EF.

I'm not a blogger.

I've never deleted any of my EF posts. I don't think I've ever deleted a blog post at all, actually.
Deleting a post you have been compensated for is totally unethical, though, unless you have an agreement with the sponsor that it only has to stay up for X number of days. That would be like someone paying you to build them a house, and then you going back and knocking it down after they've lived in it for a few weeks, and being like "What, I built the house! I didn't say you could keep it forever!"
(I suck at examples.)
If someone isn't comfortable having sex-related posts on their blog... don't write sex-related posts. There are SO many EF posts you can do that are totally PG. You can discuss bath products, make-up, the point system, the clubs, community events... anything!

I've never deleted one of my EF posts (i agree with you, more content the better) and the only time I've ever deleted a real post was because it was bitching about my ex-agency and they slapped me with paperwork stating if i didnt remove the blog about their lack of professionalism and mismanagement they would sue me.

I've never deleted an Eden-post. I feel like that's a dick-thing to do. You get paid to do it, so why would you cheat them out of money? I'm proud of my Eden-posts, I'd never delete them.

I heard this as well and could not believe it! I seriously hope this had nothing to do with the decision to stop sponsored post! Because that would really piss me off if some aholes spoiled it for everyone!!!!

I've never deleted an Eden post, BUT I have gone back to some previous toy reviews or posts about toys and edited it saying you can get such and such from EF.
When it comes to other toy sites or erotic sites... yes. I have. I will only post on my blog if I beleive in the site. One company that was sending me a toy demanded that I pay them for the item after the fact because international shipping was so pricey, even though it was stated that international reviewers were accepted. I deleted everything about them on my blog because my blog is NOT about America and I do not live there.
Silly and petty I know.
But the people who delete their EF posts after the fact... that is just bad form!!!

Wow, never would consider doing that!!!!! Hope that wasn't what led to the end of the sponsored post program????? Would be sad if a few bad apples spoiled the fun for all of us!!!

I did delete my posts after the fact. Why? Because it was on my family friendly site AND I lost my Google AdSense account. I wanted my AdSense account back...it made me more money than Eden....which is why I made my adult blog, so that I could do both.
ETA: All my posts on my Family Friendly blog, were Family friendly.....lotions and the such. BUT it linked back to Eden and Google picked up on it. I lost my account for 4 months, during which I fought like hell. And the only way to get my account back was to delete the posts.
