As usual in life, everything hits at once and I wanted to share some news. In the store I work at naturally all the drama and stuff hits all at once. This time, we had the store manager, asst store manager and myself all take 1 week vacations 1 after another. On top of that, someone quit, the store is about to undergo a huge conversion and everything is changing. The old store manager hired 2 people then 2 weeks later she quit for a better job opportunity.
I applied for the store manager position and found out today that I got it! So now for my first 2 weeks of being a store manager I have quite the challenge in dealing with hiring another person to fill my old spot. The new conversion starts on the 10th, and I have to be trained in a couple of things also. Like I said, it all hits at once.
But I am excited about the position, it is a very nice pay increase too! Double of what I was making. Finally some good things have fallen into place for me. I hope everyone else gets some positive changes in their life as well.
