So I got an eMail from Tantus Inc today, informing me that there is a new sex toy coming out within the next couple of weeks, called Alan. And yep, they designed it specifically as a memorial to my Alan. They even picked up the phrase he and I used to have on our blog (about being the "couple next door"). Too freakin cool.

It did! And it surprised the heck out of me too (lol). Yes, they're sending one out this week.

Alright I've gotten several PM's and eMails since I made this post that have made me feel like I need to clarify something.

Alan & I were together for 22 years. We were/are some of the "veteran" members of Eden, but we also wrote for several adult publications and were involved in various facets of the adult industry, including the publishing of our own book. We tended to stay in the background of things as much as possible, but Alan had a personality that endeared him to a lot of people over the years in spite of that. He was killed right before the holidays in 2013, and that is why Tantus did this for him.

I'm not telling you this for sympathy or to "call foul" on anyone at all. Really, to those of you who wrote to me, do NOT feel bad -- questions are normal. I've just realized that some of the Eden members who weren't around when it happened are still a bit confused (one guy asked if Tantus made the toy because Alan was in porn movies) so I thought it was time to clear it up.
