I have one brick and mortar business, one internet business and website (non-adult related), and also am an occasional freelance writer. Reviewing products on Eden's is my down-time hobby and my personal time. (I love this place!!) My daughter says the other two full-time businesses and writing is too much for one person, I am a bit burnt out, but with all I have invested cannot walk away. How do other people handle these situations? I am in the middle of some serious decisions, and appreciate all advice you can give. Sorry to be so serious. Oh, giving up Eden's is NOT an option!
How many of you own a brick and mortar business? An internet business? or both.

I own a production company that has at least 3 or 4 projects going at all times. Each project runs like a small business itself. I also write book and restaurant reviews, run my son's middle school PTO (which is like a full time job, sheesh) and help my husband run his business! I have only recently had to start turning stuff away because I never stop! Eden is fun and I like being here I wouldn't give this up either

I run a small lactation business, doing consults, selling and renting medical devices. Business is slow and I don't know what I will do when the new law kicks in that breast pumps and consultations have to be paid for by insurance companies with no co-pays. I'm too small for insurance companies to work directly with. Most clients would use the hospitals (some have horrible lactation staff and 15 minute consultations, which help NO ONE. You can't solve a breastfeeding issue in 15 minutes, no matter how simple it it.) As it is, my clients are directed to simply send my bill to their insurance, and I don't know what will happen when payment is "mandated." I can't send bills to insurance, also if I did, I'd have to charge more, due to more paperwork etc.
Anyway, as my business is small, I don't have much conflict with Eden at all.

I don't own a business but I work in a very small brick and mortar (chocolate!) store. It's a fun time to be there, because it's just transitioning into being sustainable financially. It's a lot of work but a great work environment.

Whoa?? When does this new law take effect? Thats crazy! So you won't be able to do consulting unless you are working through an insurance company? I remember when I had my two. The hospital consultants were AWFUL! My girlfriend is the one that helped me. Is this part of the new health care bill?
