OK so I wandered into my local Dollar Discount store and had a nice conversation with the owner of the store. It seems that all over US and Canada Dollar Discount Stores are beginning to carry such batteries as the elusive "N" and all sorts of watch batteries. I thought I'd pass this new knowledge around...it's not eco friendly and I'm still looking for rechargeable sets but hey I can at least get them without having to show the lady at the jewelry counter my vibe!
Batteries!

I saw watch batteries at ours and was ecstatic! I will be checking them for the N batteries now

Awesome! I've never actually tried to be N batteries in a physical store yet.

I haven't had anything that required anything beyond AA or AAA batteries yet. I hope it stays that way.

When I first had to start buying N batteries (for my bullet) I just brought the battery into the store, and told the guy at the counter it was for "medical equipment."

I just shoved the battery at him, and he had the nerve to ask, "What is this for?" Sheesh.
IMO, it is "medical equipment."
Our local Walgreens carries N batteries. I was told they are for "cameras" but I've never seen a camera take one....

That's fantastic news, Airen! Thanks for sharing.

I would never have guessed that the Dollar Stores would carry them. Great!

I wish ours did! Hopefully soon! Luckily I've never had anyone ask what my batteries are for when I bring in a battery and need a replacement for it.

Nice! I just buy batteries in bulk online. I recently purchased 600 button batteries for 40 bucks, free shipping. Had to pay tax tho since the seller was in CA. *sad face* Still, it's probably better in the long run to buy in bulk if you know where to look for a good deal. To me it was a pretty nice deal, but yeah.
Then the post office lost my package.... But thankfully a neighbor took it upon himself to come and deliver it the next day.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check our local dollar store.
So far, I've always purchased my N batteries at Wal-mart in the electronics dept.
