I'm just wondering where on the internet everyone hails from, and also maybe a bit of the pros and cons of each community. I frequent a couple of these, and find the LiveJournal comms to be the best when it comes to gaining information on specific subjects, but they're dying out with LJ itself and I'm starting to look into the alternatives.
What other websites with trans*-related communities do you frequent?

Tumblr is a great place for transguys recently! I follow fuckyeahftms and The Art of Transliness and they're both really good! Hit me up on there if you decide to join! leo-edward.tumblr.com

I actually started off on Gaia Online! After Gaia I didn't really frequent any other trans related forums or blogs until Tumblr came along, but I tend to ignore the trans community on there too.

I use Tumblr, but not for trans related things.

I use reddit a lot, which has some pretty good trans* communities that I really like browsing. Outside said communities, it tends to be a little sexist and transphobic, though.

I used to use LJ, now I'm on tumblr

I never leave Tumblr, that's how I found EF

Tumblr, LJ, but LJ is mostly just dead and the trans communities there can be incredibly stifling.

Most of the people I follow on tumblr are trans* and it's the one thing that's really helped me get through my transition =)

I'm semi-active on Fuckyeahftms on Tumblr, but I also have a large group of other FtM trans that I spend time with via messengers and similar things.

I'm attached to reddit even for the non-trans stuff, but they have quite a few nice trans subreddits, like for news, passing tips, ftm/mtf/genderqueer etc. I'm warming up to tumblr and they've got some great stuff too.

I started out on Gaia but the community there was kinda very dramatic >_> so I never really involved myself with anyone and stuck to roleplaying.
I follow a few trans blogs on Tumblr but my tumblr is mostly a mish-mash of everything and anything and I'm not really "active" in anything I tend to keep to myself on most websites and just not get involved >_>

Tumblr and others (FtmUK in particular... though I don't post much!)

Sorta Tumblr. I don't follow any trans*-specific blogs, but some do feature such content heavily.

I'm unemployed at the moment so I'm freakin always on tumblr, it's a real time suck. I also spend time on the Notanotheraiden.com forums. It's a great site for Gay FTM's but because membership is kinda low sometimes the forums aren't very active. I'm always looking for a more active gay ftm community so if anyone knows of anything hit me up.

tumblr. kaelankierce, follow me if you want. i don't post a whole lot - it's a transition journal. but i've made some cool friends there anyway.

I'm on Tumblr a lot. A lot of the people there I follow are trans, and the community there seems really helpful.

Fetlife!!

I am a huge tumblr user - same username as I have here. I'm also a big fan of the trans*/genderqueer community on YouTube, and I just got a Fetlife account but haven't done much of anything with it. I like being on a website where I can list my gender accurately, though.

transbucket is pretty good, they list surgeons and therapists, and have forums

I use Tumblr and transbucket

Mostly tumblr, but I like to lurk on reddit and other sites (Laura's Playground, and whatever I may come across)
I noticed Tumblr is filled to the brim with FtM/transmasculine peeps and reddit and the others are more MtF/transfemenine centered. Idk, it's nice to take a break from all the bros and visit the ladies sometimes haha
