I haven't purchased a harness yet because I think a strap between the legs might be awkward does anyone have some clarification on what might be good with my disphoria?
What is your person preference for packer harness?

The Bare As You Dare harness is great for use as a packing strap. Since it's so minimal, you can barely feel it and it works excellently in boxer briefs or boxers. It's much better than the Joque for packing because its design IS so minimal. Keep in mind though that it is a g-string, so it might dig into your bottom a bit while you're wearing it. Personally, I really, REALLY dislike that, but others are fine with it.
Hope that that helps!

For packing purposes, I cut the waistband off a pair of briefs, then using an O ring and some elastic from the fabric store, made my own harness. I found it to be much less intrusive feeling than a store-bought harness, and if the band accidentally becomes visible it just looks like underwear, not a harness.

Personally, I do not pack on a regular basis. But when i do I prefer to just use a jock strap that will hold my packy snug up against me however I position it.

I prefer my own homemade straps. Bit of elastic and a pouch for the packer. No uncomfortable rough leather backing like some the commercial ones come with.

I have the Spare Parts harness and use it, and it works well its just bulky. After a while though I forgot I had it on. Basically works with baggy clothes only. Otherwise I just make a sock packer and safety pin it into the pouch on my underwear, that most men's underwear have.

Maybe consider this.
link
Its available on most websites, some have it with the in between straps but I have one and would say the strap that go in between aren't needed and could easily be cut off. Hope this helps.

SpareParts has new packing underwear that is AWESOME. I bought the commando style, but I'm probably going to buy a few pairs of trunks. They're soft, compatible with stp packers, and are great quality. They come in briefs, jockstraps, commando, and trunks. The only place I've seen them for sale is at Babeland, which is where I bought mine for around $30 I think.

Underwear ones seem like they'd be more comfortable.

Those boxer ones look more up my alley.

I take back my old recommendation for the spare parts packing underwear. I didn't end up loving them after all. Now I just use boxer briefs that have two pieces of fabric sewed together so I can make a little cut in between the layers and stick my packer in there. So much cheaper, and I didn't like the fabric of the spare parts underwear.

I'm thinking a nice pair of boxer briefs or perhaps a jock strap. They're subject to change though

I have a jock strap, but not a clue how to use it, but it's cute and rainbow!

I have the jockstrap-style Pete Packer harness from SpareParts. It's worked great for me, though I'm sure other straps on the market are good, too.

I made my own from some elastic at the fabric store for about $5. I also just tuck my packer in to boxer briefs sometimes but it attracts lint so I have to clean it at the end of the day.

i made my own and i love it. there are some awesome ideas and links if you look around. depending on what you are looking for you can make one for just a few bucks. i made mine for about ten because mine was a pair of biking shorts and a few more things. but i love it!
i found most of the harnesses a bit hard to keep my packer up due to the gravity and the weight of the packer. i have a mr. limpy medium and it has a decent amount of weight to it so the average harnesses do not work very well
