TG and sex?

Is it harder having sex being transgendered with your partner? Or is it easier since you are out to them and know that they understand?

My girlfriend is amazing and always treats me like the man I am. However, she often complains that she always wants a "real man" and seems kind of absent during sex. Our relationship is great, however, and we have been in love since high school. Also, she's going through a stage in her transition where she's having a lot of doubts so she's uncertain about her body, as well.

I think its fucked up of her to complain about wanting a "real man". I think you're a real dude and she shouldn't say stuff like that, you know?

My girlfriend is pretty great though. She treats me really well and never makes me feel weird during sex. Although the idea of sex with another person is kind of terrifying, its pretty awesome with my partner. She just treats me like a dude and I like that.

i wouldn't be able to be with someone who told me they wanted "a real man".

the sex in my current relationship is great. it's been hard with other people before (i'd been out for quite a few years before i started dating my current girlfriend). it can get complicated when you're trans.

It's more of a bundle of her fears of not being a "real woman". It's quite weird, and every so often it does come up, but most of the time she does treat me like a real man. It's very confusing.

I have only had sex with someone I was out to.
It is all a matter of language.

Well, I'm glad to say that instead of not having a "real man", that woman now has no man what so ever .

yeah, 'real' is a bad word to describe how manly or womanly someone is. if you're alive and tangible, you're real. functioning penises do not make 'real' men. just as a functioning womb doesn't make a woman 'real' either. both sexes deal with the loss of these functions biologically for one reason or another, and they are no less women or men for that.
if you know you're a man, then you're a man. if you feel like one, then you are one. and that's what will make sex great. not anatomy.

Oh God, if my partner ever told me he wanted a "real man" he'd probably be leaving my house with a shank made out of a toothbrush in his kidney @_@. Back to topic, my sex life has gotten to much better since I came out to my partner. We're just more open and there's no more awkward touching. It can get a little complicated at time when he's avoiding my chest XP. We've always found a way to make it work though :'D.

It can be challenging, but if that trust and support isn't there, you're not in for a very good time anyway hahah

Not cool to say she wants a "real man" insinuating you aren't. Really good sex sometimes takes a lot of communication and understanding.
