Perusing Potential Packers and Pouches!

Contributor: MeliPixie MeliPixie 03/15/2012

Hello everyone! I'm a female-bodied gender-fluid person looking for a packing dildo -and maybe a new harness?- that I can wear just about everywhere (I work in a restaurant kitchen, so I won't be wearing it to work), and I know Eden currently offers a few. I'd like to take a closer look at the toys and harnesses that come up when I look under the sub-categories for packers and straps as linked from the front page: Specialty Cocks and Packers , and Packing Straps . I'd love some help deciding on what to get!

What I'm looking for is a packing cock that's soft, pliable, realistic, and won't completely dwarf my boyfriend's penis, which is about 2-12 to 3 inches long when flaccid (he's a grower ). I have a Realdoe that I prefer to use for penetrative purposes, and as such, would love to have a packer that matches it in color. To this end, I was looking at the Mr. Right in the color Caramel or Vanilla, not sure which yet. But then someone mentioned in a thread that their Mr. right was secreting some sort of oily substance, and that kinda turned me off to the toy, especially when someone else seconded having the problem, though with only two reports that I can find, perhaps they were part of a bad batch or something. So I'm keeping it on my radar at least. Barring Mr. Right, I'm left with (here at Eden anyway) the Mr. Limpy Small and the Mr. Limpy Extra Small , both by Fleshlight. Now, I know those two aren't really as "safe" a material as the Mr. Right, but since I won't be using them for penetration, that's no big deal. I have a couple questions for this part of the discussion:

1) Regarding the Mr. Right, are two reports of secretion are enough to make you turn elsewhere for a packer?
2) Mr. Limpy Extra Small. He looks as though he's standing at attention. Does anyone who owns one ever have trouble with him standing up in your shorts and looking like a tiny erection or an unnatural bulge?
3) Do the Mr. Limpy ball bases fit into the Mr. Right packing strap, or does it only work with the Mr. Right? (Will be asked in the strap discussion as well in case it's missed.)

POLL QUESTION: Which should I choose to pack with?

The Limpy XS is floppy, the only reason it looks erect in the picture is because it's laying flat on it's back. However, the XS DOES HAVE larger balls than the other models, which gives you that "semi boner" look if you don't wear tight briefs or something to help keep him down. I deal with it by wearing tight underwear, and packing low, with the balls partially tucked between my legs. The Small is pretty lengthy, but the balls are smaller so it won't create the boner look, but it will dwarf your boyfriend's.

For harnesses I'd strongly advise against underwear style packing harnesses, since you'll have to wash them very frequently. It's much better to get the around-the-waist style ones, unless you only pack once in a while.

I have both Mr Right vanilla and Mr Limpy small. I haven't noticed any oily secretion, though the surface of Mr Right is a bit tacky. I've also only had Mr Right for a few weeks.

They both make a rather large bulge. I think sex toy manufacturers just have no concept of the cock size of normal men as opposed to porn stars.

Wait, so it has a smaller shaft AND larger balls? That certainly makes sense *giggles and rolls hir eyes* I mean I noticed, but I thought that was just an illusion caused by the smaller "cock" portion of the toy! Still, thanks so much for the information.

As far as harnesses, I already wash ours at least once a week because they get soiled that often or more, so that's not a huge concern.

Tacky, you say? Hm. I wonder if it can be made smoother somehow? The secretions appeared withing a couple days of receiving the toy, so if it were going to happen with yours, it probably would have by now You're right about toy companies and actual cock size. I don't think anyone really realizes the average cock is only 5-1/2 inches long at its fullest, and doesn't need to be any bigger (for most women) to feel good.

So, by "rather large," how large are we talking... Is it like, "Hm, I think that girl might have a little something going on down there," or more like, "Woah, does that chick have a softball in her pants?!" kind of bulge?

Yes, they use the same model as Mango, where I got mine, if you look at the packer page it states that the XS has extra large balls compared to the other sizes. Strange eh? I'm not really sure why.

Ah, that's probably do-able then, I just live in a full shared home so the washer isn't available that often, I don't want to go a week or more without washing my underwear. XD

You can easily remedy the tackiness by sprinkling corn starch on the packer, which is dirt cheap, especially when bought in the bulk section of grocery stores.

The secretions MAY be caused by heat, do you know where the people who had that problem live? If they're from a hot and/or humid climate, soft material like that might have that problem.

Hmmm, no, I don't know where they live, and it wasn't mentioned, but that might have something to do with it. I read a review for Mr. Right, where the reviewer tried corn starch, but it just sorta got in all the crevices and was generally messy until they washed it off, not sure I wanna go that route. Thanks though!

Yes, that was me. The cornstarch didn't really work well for Mr Right, though it does beautifully for Mr Pinky.

The size of the bulge, for both Mr Limpy small and Mr Right is not quite 'I'm sporting a hard-on', but it's close. It's larger than the average guy has showing at any given time. Wearing tight briefs might help to compress it down a bit. Probably you want to hear from some actual trans guys rather than a kinky girl who does gender play in the bedroom. They'll know a lot more about how to manage packers.

Probably just because balls don't shrink so much when a penis is flaccid, so there's really no reason to change the size of them. The XS is not so much small as it is completely normal sized for a typical cis-male penis. It also isn't necessarily more erect as a flaccid cock than a typical cis-male penis is when it's flaccid. There's a whole site devoted to typical cis-male genitalia pictures, both flaccid and hard, if you want to get a better comparison. Erection photos dot com or something similar.

I own the x-small Mr. Limpy. It's very subtle even with the larger balls depending on what kind of jeans you're wearing. I generally wear boxer briefs with them and while it looks barely there in skinny jeans (No one has ever commented on it at all.) it does look more sizable in baggy jeans, oddly enough.

Cool on you!

Given the cost and size, I would say starting with the Mr. Limpy X-Small would be a good choice. It may not be the best material but I think it's probably more realistic in terms of flaccid size. If you feel a little inadequate later you can always upgrade

For the tackiness, if you don't want to use cornstarch, baking soda may also work. Don't use baby powder or talc, those are actually proven to increase your risk of certain cancers and shouldn't be used around the genitals.

and YES the XS is actually pretty average for a flaccid penis, which is why I picked it, I just don't appreciate the giant balls! I've thought about cutting them down a bit, shaving some off the back, however I'm scared of it becoming permanently super tacky.

For anyone who's curious, I just ordered the Mr. Limpy Small, because it's inexpensive and doesn't seem to poke out the way the XS does. I wanted the Mr. Right, but I can't afford it right this moment, and since I don't even know if packing is for me yet, I'll hold off on that until I DO know. Thanks to everyone for the help! I didn't get a harness yet, I'm just going to get a pair of boxer-briefs for the time being.

i have a vanilla mr. right and i fucking love it. mine isn't secreting anything. ew. that said, if you're JUST packing for yourself, don't blow money and get a super realistic packer. i needed a realistic one for my dysphoria. but for 50 bucks, just to hide in your underwear? i wouldn't spend that kind of money. the vanilla is very, very pale. just keep that in mind.

Just make sure your briefs are semi-tight so that it will not fall off. Nothing worse than your penis falling out at an inappropriate time.

I'd go with Mr. Right regardless of the reports of oiliness. If there are only two reporting that, I think they are more than outweighed by all the positive reports.

I personally have both Mr. Limpy in multiple sizes and Mr. Right.

I've never had any issues with oil on Mr. Right. Mr. Right, however, is NOT as flexible as Mr. Limpy. Limpy is very, very flexible (think kinda like a real penis when completely flaccid in how it can bend into itself and whatnot). However, Limpy also is a relatively unrealistic color, and it's pretty easy to see that it's not a real penis.

So Mr. Right wins on teh "realistic looking" competition because it LOOKS very real. However, when touched, it is not nearly as squishy or flexible as Limpy. However, it looks much more real and "feels" more real against the skin> But if groping through pants, Limpy feels more real because it's uber-flaccid whild Mr. Right almost feels like he's semi-flaccid. If that makes sense.

I've been so undecided lately between Mr. Right and Mr. Limpy small. I'm leaning towards Mr. Right based on the material and realism factors. I wish EF had more packer options.

The Mr. Limpy extra small is really the perfect packer in my opinion. People are worried that it looks like a boner: you pants make it stay down. Some people think the small is better because it's bigger: the extra small makes a better and more realistic bulge because the balls add to the bulge due to them not being farther back like a cisguy's.

I'd like to have a strap that's elastic or velcro and big enough around to accommodate my 52-inch, Dutch, child-bearing hips. Comfort is preferred, of course, and I'll probably be wearing it under boxers without panties. I'd like the balls not to be completely hidden, if possible. I already own a Vegan Commando , which works great for pegging but gets uncomfortable against my skin sometimes, and the Spareparts Joque in its larger size, but if I use that, a) the balls will be on the inside of the harness, and b) the adjustment sliders sometimes dig into my skin when worn underneath clothing, and that's not comfy at all. I'm looking most seriously at the Mr. Right Packing Strap , which looks comfortable but only fits up to 50 inches. (I'm sure my waist will decrease at least a little as I continue to lose weight, so that shouldn't be a huge problem, getting down to 50 inches for the harness.) So it's between the latter two, and the Bare As You Dare harness, which looks comfy-ish (I don't really wear a G-string, but okay) and easy to clean, since I have completely ruled out the Vegan Commando already. Buckles under jeans... Ouch. Here are a couple questions for this part of the discussion:

1) Do the Mr. Limpy ball bases fit into the Mr. Right packing strap, or does it only work with the Mr. Right? (Will be asked in the cock discussion as well in case it's missed.)
2) Have you used the Joque for packing? Were you satisfied, or did you find you disliked it for some reason?
3) Has anyone packed using the Bare As You Dare harness? What was your experience?

Mr Limpy small fits into the Mr Right packing strap, though the balls are a bit undersized for the holder. There's also stretch built into the strap, so it's possible it'll work for you before losing weight. The main problem is the leather right against your skin.

Yeah, it certainly looked like it had some good stretch to it! But since it says the maximum size it fits is 50 inches, I'll not risk stretching it out. I mean, if I stretch it out, what will I wear when I DO get down to my target weight? I'll have to buy a new one! XD

Oh hey, I'm pretty handy with a needle and thread... If the balls don't fit properly, I could probably adjust the harness a bit to fit it better, right?

SOMETHING I FORGOT TO MENTION!

I also know how to tie a harness out of rope, and we have some comfy cotton rope that I have been known to wear under clothes, but only around the apartment. If none of the harnesses work out, does anyone think that could work to wear in public...? Hmmm...

@ Rope harness: It sounds like it would be workable, as long as it wasn't thick enough to show through your clothes. I've also heard of people making packing straps out of clear elastic, that you can buy by the meter from any fabric shop.

@ Altering the Mr Right packing strap: The backing is a double layer of soft leather, with elastic sewn over it to hold the balls in place. It wouldn't be difficult to sew more elastic in place to change the fit if needed, if you're crafty. It also wouldn't be difficult to add elastic to the strap to make it fit a larger size, or to take it in later when you lose weight.

I'd go with anything non-leather, because it's going to get nasty real fast being that close to one of the sweatiest parts of the body.

I know someone who is near your size, and he says the packing strap is basically crap. But that's just one opinion.

He has the Mr. Right and says even that doesn't fit well in it and it just doesn't work.

Personally, I plan on just using a pouch of fabric (or even a thin small sock) until I maybe get one of the SqureParts Pete ones. I imagine you could make one out of tights or nylons, even - and just pin to the underwear. You could even just sacrifice an underwear and sew it on if the pins creep you out.

I've not personally heard many good things about the Pete, but good luck! Thanks for the advice, but my boyfriend has shrunk so much of my underwear it's really out of the question to sacrifice another pair. I'd rather go with a strap.

The reviews sound good so far.

Come to think of it - someone talked about using a jock strap. I actually have one that I just bought for the cup for my Clockwork Orange costume, so maybe I'll have a use for the elastic + crotch bag part, after all. Seems like it could work if I wanted something for under boxers.

Yeah, but would it really be normal to wear a jock strap all day? I mean, I guess it wouldn't really be considered "normal" to walk around with a fake penis in your pants, but that's not really the point. Male-bodied guys don't generally wear jock straps as everyday attire... Do they...? ^^;;
