I've heard some ftm guys like to pack in their sleep and I'm sure I'll be one of them whenever Mr. limpy comes back in stock. But I've also heard some guys think it gets in the way while they sleep. What are your thoughts?
Packing while you sleep?

I wouldn't do that with a Mr. Limpy just because I'm worried about wearing it down, but I might consider that with a hard packer that I'm less worried about breaking down.

It could make it get used faster plus not very "clean" to do, IMO.

I am not trans, but I've considered packing for fun. I wouldn't pack during sleep though.

I'm with you on this one Rhiulan.
Personally, I don't think it'd get that worn down because I don't move a lot in my sleep (and of course I wouldn't pack every night).
But we'll just have to see

I read the title of this thread and thought you quite literally meant "packing" as in paking luggage for say a trip.
I though it was hilarious and thought I'd share!!!

If you're going to be soft packing 24/7 I'd really recommend against the Mr. Limpy, and would say you'd be better off with Mr. Right, if only because Mr. Right is silicone, which is 100% body safe, whereas Mr. Limpy isn't as safe for continued exposure.

I feel like it would fall out and I would end up with penis in my face.
04/28/2012
I pack with a peecock and slip it in between the fabric in my boxer briefs (sometimes i just have to cut a slit so i can slip it in) so I never am in contact with my packer. Usually if I'm packing during the day I pack while I sleep too. Since it's held inside my underwear it stays put and i don't worry about it being unclean or anything like that.

I'd really only do it if I was with a bunch of people who didn't know and they may be seeing my lack there of..
04/29/2012
I only pack on certain days when I'm going out, I don't usually wear it at home. When I first got it (and was SUPER dysphoric) I'd sleep with it on. Now I don't bother, it just kinda gets in the way and I don't need it for confidence at home.

I think the first day I got it, I went to bed with it in bed, but not packing. I usually have all sorts of things in my bed when I fall asleep though.

I think I'd mostly just be either too lazy to take it out when going to bed... or the opposite, it'd annoy me too much to sleep well.

While not trans, I just want to say I love these posts on Eden. They are interesting and I wouldn't know these things otherwise. Thank you

I really only sleep with it on when I forget to take it off although I haven't bothered to take it off for quick naps. Btw - I have Mr. Right.
05/08/2012
I pack while I sleep, but I use underwear with a front inside pocket, so there's nothing for it to rub against (it's held quite snug) and it's not directly up against my skin all night.
05/09/2012
I don't pack when I sleep. Hell, I don't even pack when I'm out. I'm so afraid to damage my packer. Also, I'm closeted... I usually pack or snuggle with my packer when I feel really dysphoric and feel like dying.
05/09/2012
I can't even handle packing during the day most of the time.
05/10/2012
I don't pack during my sleep because it would wear out my packer infinitely quicker, and I prefer to pack during the day with my Rodeoh harness, but I only have two and besides I usually wear no underwear just pants to sleep so it wouldn't stay on.
05/11/2012
Not trans but my friend has worn out his packers more quickly when he wore them while sleeping so doesn't anymore.
05/12/2012
I really wouldn't wear a packer in my sleep, especially a Mr. Limpy, which as someone has pointed out isn't 100% body safe, and is slightly porous so will become a breeding ground for germs.
Because packers are waterproof, they prevent your natural discharge from leaving and trap it against your body. This makes you highly likely to get thrush, so if you're going down this route, make sure you wear underwear beneath your packer, and get ready with some yogurt....

interesting

I usually take my packer off once I'm home for the night. Seems like it'd be real easy to wear it out or damage it wearing it while you sleep.

id pack with the semi hard packer. so when i wake up i have some actual wood. its a dyphoria cure for me
10/17/2012
I don't plan on sleeping with my packer. Maybe once in a while depending in context, but not everyday.
