Can you wear kids' clothes? Do you? I do, obviously. I'd rather not pay more money for mens' clothes that may not fit, ya know?
Little Boys'/Girls' Clothes...can you wear them?

I stumbled across this, I'm cis, but I figured I'd answer anyway since I DO wear them lol.
I can fit into some girls clothes, and when I can, I do if they're cute! You're right, they're cheaper. Especially if you can use boys instead of mens, because they are WAY more expensive than women's clothing for some reason!

My shoe size is right between boys and mens, half the time I end up buying "kids" shoes, half the time they're "mens". I often buy boy's hoodies and jackets, pants too, since men's clothes that FIT are very hard to find except at places like Pac Sun, and I really don't want to boy ALL my clothes from there. Thrift stores are a big help since their clothes are cheap to begin with, and for some reason they tend to have LOTS of kids clothes.

Yeah, I fit into boy's clothes more than men's clothes when it comes to certain items but the sleeves are often too short.

I wish. I can usually wear t-shirts or short-sleeved button up shirts, but anything with a pant leg or sleeve will be too short for me. I think I might try underwear because they make such campy boy's underwear.

Yes I shop in the kid section for a lot of my clothes because it's not always easy to find adult sizes that fit me. Most shorts, jeans or bottoms are from a kids section or a brand that carries tiny sizes. I don't buy men's clothes from a kids section though. I'm female and can find kids clothes that fit me. However, my 12 year old son and I wear close to the same size, only boy clothes tend to be made baggier than girls. I'm able to wear his shirts as t-shirts and some of his Hollister and A&E collection fits me and works for both male and female. I wouldn't wear em' in public since they're t-shirts and baggy on me, but they work nicely! Occasionally, my 7 year old neice and I can share clothes. I ain't wearin' no Hello Kitty though so mostly she wears mine, when they fit.

I'm at a very annoying size where men's shirts are too large but boys' shirts are almost always too small. I am still able to snag some good deals from the kids' section, though.

I wear boys tops, but I usually wear womens "boyfriend style" pants. Curse my wide hips!

I've sought it out as an option, but "Boys" stuff is generally cut for someone shorter than I am - significant enough that it's an issue. Even the 16s and 18s are just not right.
It's frustrating because "Mens" generally isn't produced in my size. I have a lot of luck with older clothing though - size 34 was produced more widely in previous decades.
I've found some modern clothing marketed as 34, but men's clothing has fallen victim to vanity sizing, too. The "34" I have from a modern company could easily be a 38 and is way too large for me. Older clothing tended to be produced to fit more snugly as well - the "36" I have from ages past is a bit large but is workable and the 34 is perfect - even the 34 I have from the 70s works.
Nowadays men's clothing is cut too large for the stated size and American companies' cuts are especially boxy and unattractive on just about anyone.
If you're looking for something particular, go by measurements, not stated size.
Men's clothing from Asia tends to come in smaller sizes due to population averages. There are some nice fashion/trendy type items to be had if that's your thing.

I can wear a size 14 in little girl's. It makes me happy, especially given my age. (I was told I'd turn 27 and my ass would explode and I'd suddenly find myself fatter than I ever could have imagined.) Hmm...I've gained five pounds because I went off the pill. Anyway...
I buy shorts and stuff to bum around the house in and some of the t-shirts if they're cute. But, I stay away from the jeans because I *do* have hips and they don't fit right or they're covered in some sparkly, glittery design.
I like my clothing to be understated - my personality takes care of the rest.

I feel you about pants sizes. Some of the best jeans I've had were men's 29x32s but I can not find that size at all anymore.

I've accidentally tried on a boy's sweater but my shoulders are just too wide, and the shirt was too short.

I am well, short and fat, but I can even rock little dudes' undies. I have How To Train A Dragon ones. I feel like men's clothes are always going to be too big for me.

When I visit my family in asia I always buy tons of clothes, it's so reliving to be in a place where THE MENS CLOTHES ACTUALLY FIT ME! At least half of my regular wardrobe I bought overseas.

Boys' clothes fit me better than men's... but then, I'm only 5'0".

I used to work in the children's wear department of Macy's, and we did have adults come in all the time for clothing. The Macy's brands are generally more mature than other stores', to which our extra-petite lady shoppers enjoyed. I sold more boys' suits to adult men than I did to boy-children.

I fit into some boys clothes, and I always buy boys shoes. As a cheap bastard, I am very grateful for this. It also means I can still fit into light-up shoes @_@. Unfortunately this does strike up the question as to why my feet are so freakishly small XP. I just tell them the truth, malnutrition. I stopped growing before my teenage years @_@. Thank you, poverty XP. Thankfully I was freakishly tall as a kid, because I'm 5'5" :'P.

I think that once my fat redistributes and my chest is flat I will be able to fit into little boys clothes well which will help my budget!

I would love to wear kid's jeans, because I have really awesome memories of wearing jeans from the little boy's department that had adjustable elastic on the inside that I could cinch to fit my waist and I haven't seen any like that since...
Unfortunately, my ass has since grown to a degree that makes boy's jeans impossible to get into. Be it men's or women's, at this point I'm limited to the adult clothing departments.

Many stores make kid's clothes that are just as dressy as adult clothes (ex: Gap) so some guys have found success doing that. Personally, I just wear men's small and that generally works for me.
