I'm going to be honest: I'm really not cool with it. For someone who does not identify within the gender binary forced to choose "male" or "female" is really not... I don't like it, I don't appreciate it, especially as someone who more often than not identifies as agender. Yeah, either way you get your 250 points, but still, how difficult it is to have a third option with a fill-in bar? C'mon, friends at EF.

Yeah, you'd think they would be more inclusive.

It would be really nice to have an "other" option at least. =/

I JUST took the survey, lucky for me I heavily identify as male but I thought it was a bit strange that they didn't even include an "other identity" option when EF even has a "fill in your own answer" for the gender on profiles.

I'm cis male and I'm pretty clueless about gender identities — but I want to know more, and to be respectful and inclusive. What option(s) would be best to include in my future polls: "other identity", "other", or something else?

It just depends how specific you want to be. I've found that male/female/nonbinary covers most everything, or even just putting an "other" is helpful (though sometimes this makes those other identities seem like an afterthought...)

Thanks. I really like nonbinary. I think I'll go with that.
