Actually, women who are trans- rarely "want" to be girls, it's more of that they are women and are either choosing to undergo physical transition or not. Women who are trans- can be any number of sexualities, from heterosexual to pansexual, aromantic to panromantic. Simply being trans- does not make a person any different from the rest of the population.

I agree with Sir. Really, none of the Trans women I've met WANTED to be a girl, they were BORN a girl, but with male genitalia. They just WANT their bodies to match.
But, it all depends on what gender they are attracted to and how they view attraction. If they are attracted to women, they're gay, men, straight, both bi, no preferences pan. Any variation that any person born with the correct anatomy can have. It isn't limited to how you are born.

Sexuality and gender have really very little to do with one another.
I'm a trans person and am largely attracted to female partners, have never been with a male partner. I'm biologically male but identify as trans and frequently present as female. My partner is female. Does that make me gay, straight, bi?
I don't really care, but the two things aren't really related.

Sexuality is separate from gender. If a woman likes women, they are gay. If a woman likes men, they are straight.

Transwomen who like other women consider themselves lesbians. Transwomen who like men consider themselves straight. Those who like both consider themselves bisexual.
