I'm some sort of creature constantly straddling the genderfence. Sometimes I tip one way, occasionally I tip the other, and once in a while I find off but I keep climbing back on!
How do you identify yourself?

There is a difference between sex and gender. Sex is assigned at birth in accordance to anatomy. Gender is fluid and dependent on the individual.

male

Just male who happens to have a vagina. I don't necessarily see the need to identify myself as trans all the time. My orientation is more important to me than my gender identity.

Genderqueer. I dislike 'it'. In most cases I prefer to just be referred to by name, or as a person.

Female. Bitch also works for me

I'm an FTM who likes to cross-dress. Confuses the fuck out of everybody else. XD

I've never been a huge fan of the "identify" term. When I hear it in documentaries on trans people it just sounds so condasending, like "Oh look, he 'thinks' he's a guy, let's all play along" it takes away any sound of certainty and makes it out to be a matter of opinion. I don't look at my gender as a delusion, opinion, or a feeling, it's a fact.

From a similar point of view, I always say I experience myself as my gender and people/society usually identify me as something else. Why experience and not just "am"? I am a man but I wouldn't know if I didn't experience it in myself somehow. Experiencing it leads to being...

trans*masculine/ftm/ma le. i hate to even consider myself an ftm because i never FELT female. ah well.
can someone explain to me why it isn't offensive to be called they or it? i guess because i'm just 100% transmasc i don't understand. i get effing offended when i'm called an it. and i don't get where they came from. not trying to be offensive, just trying to understand. my knowledge of genderqueer is minimal since i've never fallen under that umbrella

I identify as FTM, and also other/third gender.

I agree that it is offensive, since it usually refers to non-human things. And it generally is used to dehumanize people. Singular they on the other hand is a perfectly acceptable pronoun that can be used instead of a gender based pronoun. For myself, I prefer gender neutral pronouns since I identify as being part of a non-binary gender. So I wouldn't feel right with 'he' or 'she' since I don't actually identify as male or female. There are other gender neutral pronouns like zhe, and ey, etc. But I happen to prefer they since it's already been used in English as a gender neutral pronoun.

I identify as male, but I also recognize that there are feminine aspects of me and that my time as a female-bodied person and my transition have had a huge effect on who I am.

I'm genderqueer, I like gender neutral pronouns of any kind.

I identify as non-binary, masculine presenting.

I'm Neutrois/Androgynous identifying. I use the singular they pronoun though sometimes people ping pong between using he and she with me at will. I don't mind.
