I know some FtMs such as myself are perfectly comfortable with vaginal penetration of any sort, some are strictly against it. How do you feel about penetration in general, including tampons, kegel exercisers, your own fingers, etc.? Are you ok with tampons/kegel balls but not sexual things?

I have a weird relationship to penetration - I have used tampons in the past and, more recently, a Diva Cup, and my feelings around using them vary a lot based on how dysphoric I'm feeling. Mostly it's all okay, though. I have similar responses to penetrative sex - it is often great, but every so often I have a hell no, go away, fuck off kind of day and that kind of activity sounds horrible and really out of sync with my body. Being with one partner who's bigender and another who is cis but super understanding and respectful of my identity have helped a lot with that because I don't feel forcibly pushed into a feminine role or identity by getting penetrated.

i haven't tried kegel stuff yet, but i dont mind anything as long as it's toys, fingers (mine or hubby's) and hubby's dick. i've tried tampons, and i hate them.

the only thing that made me give up frontal penetration was an underlying gynecological issue that causes severe pain any time I get turned on

Oh. I'm a female that was born female so that might not count. However, I am comfortable with penetration as long as it doesn't cause me paing, which is a common occurence for me.

Well, It all depends on what it is.
I can't get pleasure out of being penetrated by another male using vaginal only because it causes a twinge of jealousy I suppose. I'm not sure how to describe it.

I get squicked out at the idea of being penetrated D: so it's an entire no all-around for me (no tampons etc.)

For me I hate the thought of vaginal sex (in me) it makes me feel sick tbh yet I have been fingered before but only really cuz I am one not to really speak up (working on it though) but really I just do not like it! I put down "I'm only comfortable if someone else is doing the penetrating." cuz I love it anally, my mind kinda died when reading so in a way I voted wrong.

Never want anything up there really that includes tampons also I for whatever reason can't find anything but pressure when I have tried to insert anything *toy or finger* vaginally so its not like I get any use out of it anyhow :/

I'm actually surprised at the number of FtMs who are totally comfortable with it! I wasn't expecting such a response I've heard more about the ones who don't like it, possibly because they speak up more about it?

I think my diva cup actually helped me feel more secure and less dysmorphic than tampons and pads. As for penetration during sex I'm for it, oddly enough, though I'm usually the one doing the penetrating.

I'm actually okay with sexual penetration since my dysphoria centers primarily on my chest. I also use tampons because I develop raches when I use pads.

One thing that I will admit disliking about penetration is when it's a doctor doing it. At least when it's sexual penetration with my partner I can control our pace.

I'm pretty much ok with any penetration provided I'm sufficiently comfortable.

I am completely comfortable with penetration and really enjoy it, and to me personally it's not something I would ever stop wanting whether vaginal (or, if I get far enough down the line then just anally), and as a gay man there is nothing inherently female in penetration to me because my partner is male (I only date men) and loves being penetrated as much as I do.

The way I see it, I am a man with two holes but one has the bonus of never causing pain when something goes in it and never is there a worry about tearing or cleanup so the benefits of me doing it that way are very obvious.

I will say though, I am supremely uncomfortable with doctor examinations of my genitals, primarily due to their habit of using swabs and poking in places a partner doesn't.

I feel pretty much the same, I really enjoy it, and with my super loving/accepting partner it's rarely embarrassing or particularly dysphoric. Honestly I have a lot more dysphoria over NOT having a penis than I do over HAVING a vagina, ideally I'd like both, I'd really miss vaginal penetration if I didn't have it. Now my uterus/ovaries on the other hand, those can get the hell out XP

I identify as genderqueer and occasionally feel all stone butch/don't touch me there, but it's a temporary feeling (a few days/a week). I'm usually ok with putting objects (cups/tampons, but maybe other stuff?) inside me, but I like to have lots of control over this.

I personally don't experience dysphoria with anything other than my chest, but tampons always reminded me that if civilization collapsed (something I irrationally worry about all the time), I would lose yet another solution to a lifelong problem, so using them was always somewhat unpleasant.

Tampons actually help me to feel less dysphoric - I just slip it in quick and then stop thinking about it. Using pads that I can feel in my pants - too much of a reminder of my cycle!

I am almost always fine with front sex. It feels great, so as long as I do not focus on the body part being used but rather on enjoying the moment, I am usually fine. However, sometimes it does bother me - feels invasive or too *feminine* if that makes sense, gives me an almost degrading feeling.

Very interesting question!!

Vaginally, I will not have ANY sort of penetration, but I can still put a tampon in. However, when it is accidentally poked, like when someone misses my anus, I yell out in pain. I used to do vaginal penetration, but I literally did not feel anything pleasurable. However, anally I am completely fine with penetration, but I have flashbacks if I am being dominated. However, if it's double penetration, I am completely fine.

As far as penetrating others, it's awesome! I would do it all day if my girlfriend would let me!
