I'm going to be flying international. Do you guys have any tips? What to do with binding and packing specifically?

I wouldn't pack.
If you're going to bind, you should use something that will look pretty inconspicuous underneath clothing. Ace bandages with the metal clasps wouldn't go over well. But a cloth binder would probably be fine.

I flew internationally last October, I had no problems binding but I didn't pack. I just wore a tank top style binder under my clothes, which obviously didn't cause any problems since it was just cloth.

Do you go to a trans therapist? If you feel uncomfortable not packing and binding, you can most likely get a letter from your trans therapist stating why you're wearing them, but I highly doubt they'd cause a problem.

I wouldn't advise packing, but binding should be fine. If you have a therapist, try and get a travelers letter so that, if troubles arise, you can have some documentation.

Who knows how it would be in practice, but a person could always cite this if something were to arise.

If the binding is comfortable, and will be comfortable for the whole flight - go for it.

Honestly, I doubt even packing would be a problem. You would have to be willing to pull it out and explain if a problem - but you're not packing with metal or anything, so it's going to be easy to verify it's not going to explode mid-flight.

Just be reasonable, calm, and prepared.

If your destination is not trans*-safe, that would be the biggest problem, I think.

I've never been on an *international* flight, but I've so far never had any problems.
