I'd like my body to be more feminine, ive considered hormones but i'd like to hear from some people who have taken them before. I want to know about any side effects, how long they took to be effective, what changes did you see and the effect it had on you and your genitalia and any other useful information you would be willing to send my way. Thanks for anyone who takes the time to respond.
Experiences with hormones?

I'm guessing you're interested in information regarding the more MTF side of things? There are plenty of resource websites out there for you and even medically published guides on what to expect and the processes you have to go through to obtain these things.

From what I've seen on this forum, it seems to be primarily FTM based so you may not get much response. However :O the rest of the internet has plenty to offer.
One site I highly recommend would be this: link
It has a lot of professionally written pamphlets and guides for people considering medical transition.
I wish I knew more MTF centered sites, but I believe this link provides a little bit more informal information like coming out experiences and provides further resources you may find useful such as therapist contacts within your area.
Hope these are of use to you .

Hormones will redistribute your fat and reduce hair growth, but not stop it, you might not even notice a difference with that. It can't change bone shape/size (hips, hands, shoulders, etc.), and it won't decrease your muscle mass, but it will make it a little harder to GAIN muscle mass.
A dear friend of mine was MtF, and I saw her through starting estrogen up to her surgery. While she did experience some fat distribution, she gained the most change in her breasts and belly fat. Her thighs thickened, but her waist didn't thin, she used belts and corsets to help with that. Routinely wearing a fitted corset will greatly help shape your figure into something more feminine!
