How do you feel about being in a relationship with a drag king or drag queen who identifies as heterosexual rather than transgendered or queer?

Do you mean someone who dresses for an acting role or as a fetish?

Either I suppose. My current boyfriend does it for burlesque acting, but I've met several people who enjoy it as a fetish. I never really put much thought into how seeing my boyfriend in drag made me feel until a friend recently told me that she didn't think she'd be able to stand dating a man who could feel so comfortable in women's clothing. She insisted that it turned her stomach. I guess I was just wondering how other people felt about it. My best friend is a drag king, for both fetish and performance, and while I feel rather neutral about the subject myself (as long as they're happy, I'm happy)... I realized that I was really put off by my friend's admonition.

I see nothing wrong with it at all. Actually, I think it'd prove just how comfortable he is with his sexuality and/or identity to do something like that which most people consider taboo.
I think that so long as you don't find cross dressing unattractive or repelling in any way, there isn't a problem.
It's sad to hear that your friend feels so strongly against it.

I don't know about for fetish purposes, but I would totally date a drag queen, as long it was just on stage. I would probably be a bit more uncomfortable, if he wanted to bring it into the bedroom.

Um, well the preferred term is transgender now, but in any case I was with a straight rock musician who wore dresses for a long time... and I thought it was HOT
