I think it would really depend on where you are at in your progress.

I'm a cis-gender male myself, but I would strongly recommend a pump with gauge, such as the Top Gauge Professional Pump because it does give you a visual of how much pressure you are placing on your anatomy. Too much pressure can cause permanent nerve damage.

Advanced pumpers (both cis and transgender) can slowly move to higher pressures.

I would also advise that if you are looking for permanent growth (which is HIGHLY DEBATED as even being possible) that you look into a pumper's guide of some sort. You will want to apply moist heat before pumping (it opens the vascular tissues to allow more blood to flow in).

Just be careful with whatever you decide to try! No one wants permanent nerve damage in their genitals!

Not a problem. If it helps at all, I'm very glad I could be of assistance. Like I said in my first response, it will depend on where you are in your progress, but there are some shorter pumps that for some reason in my mind would work better, but they don't come with a pressure gauge. I picked up a pump myself just for shits and giggles and while it's fun to play with I'm afraid to go too far because it doesn't have a gauge.

I appreciate MrWill's input and think most of it is sound but the pump he recommended isn't the best. The cylinders are much too large in diameter and will end up pumping other areas of your anatomy that you likely won't want pronounced. Unfortunately Eden doesn't sell any kits I've come across that would be good for trans men, though I also agree that getting one with a gauge is super important. The one I got had a pump that could come detached from the cylinder as well as three different sizes (because if you're on T you will see growth regardless of whether pumping works or not, though I believe it has for me). I forget where I bought it, unfortunately.

Some other tips is to use it when you're erect, I usually do it right after an orgasm. I also use lube because I find it gives me better suction.

Make sure to do your research. Good luck, friend!

I wonder if a longer cylindered nipple pump would be better?

I use the Size Matters 'Clitoris' pump. It's excellent, has three sizes of cylinders, and has been in perfect working order for over two years.

I also decided on that one and love it...works great! I have read other people saying that the pump itself is cheap and will break...but after having it I think that those people might not be taking care of their stuff...because it seems durable enough for me

but how do you know what the max number is? a guy can feel when it's just right, not enough, or too much. so what purpose does the gauge serve?

Some people are more sensitive than others, and some people are a little bit wild and would try to over-pump because they might think, 'Oh it doesn't hurt I will just pump harder'.

The gauge lets you know how much pressure you are using in a way that is not open to debate. It's a number, not something subjective. If you care about your body then you'll keep an eye on that if you ever get the urge to use 'just a little more pressure, and a little more, and a little more'. People NOT being smart is where injuries come in. I've done it off and on for years and have never had anything but all positive effects.

Thanks for making this thread! I have always found that nipple pumps are too small for pumping trans cocks. Even before I was on T, my clit was fairly large and within two months of hormones the nipple or clit pump options were to small.

I've found that cock pumps designed for the head of the penis are a great option. I personally enjoy the pumping of the surrounding area, and these aren't as long as normal penis pumps so it doesn't feel so unnecessarily large.
