Looking for alternative binders

Contributor: FTMax FTMax
I'm hoping you'll have some advice for me. I hate binders. I've tried a couple of the recommended underworks styles and I find them uncomfortable and I have a very physically demanding job so breathing is good. On the plus side, my chest is small enough that I dont need a binder if I'm just out running errands or whatever.

I have a couple of underarmor compression shirts, which are nice for a while. But, they also compress my lungs and all those other useful areas of my torso so they get uncomfy by the end of the day. I also have some hanes undershirt tank tops, which provide just the right amount of compression for the first 10time minutes I'm wearing them until they stretch out.

In short, I'm looking for a tank top that doesn't lose its shape immediately, or maybe a binder that only compresses my chest (or even compresses a little but not a ton). Anyone have similar problems, or suggestions for me?

You could try the 988, it has chest only compression (though i dont know what theyre like now, ive been told theyve changed it since i had top surgery). Also, you could use a really tight sports bra. i had one i think it was called nike dri-fit.

If you have a Walmart or Target by you try there compression shirts. They are looser than Under Armour tanktops and come in a Variety of styles, you can also get them online. And they are cheaper than binders and can usually get 3-4 for the price of 1 binder!
