Advice needed: Toys to gift to a recent MtF friend

Contributor: Red Red
Looking for advice on what sort of toys are appropriate to give to a recently post-op MtF. Yes she is aware I am doing this and is excited.

background:
I have a friend/connection I made right before I moved a few months back. Long pre-amble short, when I met her she was a month away from getting the bottom surgery. She told me that she'd become completely disconnected from her sexual self over the past year, and was going to be faced with relearning a new body soon enough. So I've offered to donate some of my less loved toys I think might help that relearning process.

The thing is - and I'm terrified I'm going to sound ignorant here - what makes sense to give her? Everyone loves vibrators, sure, but to transwomen tend to use vibrators to get off? I'm all over the skinny dildos and small butt toys but I'm a little hung up on vibrator appropriateness, and best style vibrator to give too.

Any thoughts? Help?

I think vibrators would be a great choice, especially bullets types that give a more intense vibration.

Also, there is a set of dilators that I have at home that have vibration. Since MtF post-op tend to need to dilate, it may make dilation a little more enjoyable and less of a hassle. They're also a pretty color purple, and probably less clinical than the style offered for rehabilitation.

A transwoman's parts post surgery have the capacity (in theory, individual results vary of course) to work just like any other cisgendered woman. Thus, I think a vibrator or two sounds like an excellent choice!

Hate to admit that I can't offer good input here, but I think it's a good discussion to start.

*thumbs up*

Of course! I'm not sure how recent her operation was, so be aware that her genitals will definitely need some time to heal. A lot of vibrators come with warnings regarding use on open wounds, so be sure that she has healed enough for sexual activity.

Vibrators can pleasure pretty much any erectile tissue. Many ciswomen love using them on their clits, cismen sometimes use them on their penises, so I would imagine that a vibrator would be worth trying for a transwoman!

A nice, high-end lube would also be good. I'm not a surgeon, but I believe that a post-op vagina does not lubricate itself like a ciswoman's can, so lube would definitely be useful. In order to make a good gift, it should come in nice packaging.
