does anyone else ever get this rude, and stupid question asked to them? if so, how do you respond?

My birlfriend is hardly femme, so we're never asked this as a couple. But I used to get it at work a lot, before anyone had met her. What can you do but laugh? Usually a quick answer of, "Well, it depends on who's wearing the strap-on that night..." ends the conversation.
