I really liked Fingersmith and Tipping the Velvet too! Super costume-y and queer and fun. I also recently watched Water Lilies (Naissance des pieuvres) which is a nice French coming-of-age film.

I also liked Imagine Me & You, and several others I bought on Amazon a few years ago when someone on Livejournal had some kind of campaign going to get people to show the studios that people would buy/watch happy lesbian movies. Or possibly it was happy LGBT of all sorts, because I think that's when Shelter turned up in my collection as well.
