Prostate Massage First Timer

I wanted to post this to maybe gain some insight into how to properly go about prostate massage with my partner.

We tried it this past weekend and used my Seduex Please dildo as well as some water-based lubricant. In addition to the lube, we tried it in the shower, though the water and humidity made the lube wash off almost instantly. We managed to get it in and played with it a bit, but he said he didn't get anything from it sensation wise.

Did we do something wrong? Is the p-spot like the g-spot in that it's harder to find in some guys? Could it be a potential mental block that he's experiencing? And, lastly, is there anything you would recommend for us to do or toys to try for next time?

The p-spot in men is associated with the prostate which is a small gland that wraps around the urethra and is located at the base of the bladder. It is just a short distance inside of the anus and can be palpated towards your partners front side as a small bump about the size of a walnut. You may want to try stimulating his prostate using just your finger first. That way you will know exactly when you are applying pressure to it and he can judge how it feels. Hope that helps.

Good advice here. It will also help if he is aroused firsthand, give him some oral or a hand job. This will engorge the prostate and make it easier to find, much like the G-spot. A "come here" motion with your finger works real good.

Have fun!

yes, use your fingers and press up towards his belly button. Pspot should be 3-4 inches in there, about the length of your middle or index finger...or both!

Not only does arousal make it easier to find the prostate, it also makes prostate stimulation feel better (especially at first). Throw in some penis play every now and then.

The shower might not be the best place - find somewhere he can relax and enjoy. If you're worried about mess a couple of pre-torn paper towels nearby and a glove on your hand can help.

The shower is really a bad place to do anal play. Anal play takes LOTS of lube and shower water is doing all it can to wash away lube..including silicone lubes. A nice soft towel that can be washed and on the nice comfortable bed is the place to be trying these things. Lack of lube will certainly ruin the attempt at any anal play. P spot is NOT a magical thing to find like the G spot. It is an ORGAN that doctors palpate every day. Reach in GENTLY with a well lubed finger and SHORT CUT, manicured nail, NO PAIN!!!! Then feel forward, toward his tummy...you will need to probably be all the way in if you have normal "girl length" fingers like me. You will feel a little walnut shaped thing with a walnut wrinkled surface. That is it. Massage GENTLY and watch HIM experience fireworks. He will love you for trying.

I would try any of the toys from Nexus (Glide ), nJoy (pFun Plug ) or Aneros (Progasm ) when you are ready to try some toys specifically made for a man. Until then, deep breaths and a LOT of lube will help him enjoy it more. Also, if you have long nails, some gloves with cotton balls in the tips may keep things pleasurable as well.

It takes work, and I suggest doing it for him doggy style (he will be on hands and knees) and you will work with your hands. No harness thrusting. Let him guide you and tell you how deep, how fast, etc. I usually go slowly, and press firmly upward and massage. Almost like G-Spot play, just upside down.

Anything with a slight curve as far as P-Spot toys is going to work best. You'll want to buy toys that are medium expensive to very expensive because these ensure quality. Go through the forum and see what you can find. There are plently of threads about good P-Spot toys.

If p-spot isn't working out, perineum massage can be just as effective as a prostate massage and my fiance often enjoys it more than p-spot. Please feel free to message me if you need any help at all.
