Not to brag - but I have a Doctorate in g-spot orgasms! The only problem is that I have specialized in just 1 female - so applicability is not assured.
Here's what works with my gal:
1. I bought her a Pure Wand. Gave her a printout of reviews where women described how they use it to orgasm and squirt - then went on a business trip and told her to figure it out so that she could teach me - and she did.
She didn't even know what a g-spot was - until I showed her with my fingers. But anatomically she couldn't reach it, so she didn't quite know what to make of it. The Pure Wand solved both of those problems.
2. We use the Libertor Wedge to make oral much easier - and the fingers or small vibes that go along with that. When doing oral, the Uma and Mona are great toys for targeting the g-spot. The Wedge is also invaluable for targeting her g-spot during PIV.
3. We have used a variety of toys including glass wands; the Njoy Eleven and silicone dildos to help with g-spot stimulation. Some work with the obvious g-spot curve. However the Vixskin dildos work because they are fairly girthy and have a penis shape where the coronal ridge hits the g-spot.
Don't expect the same thing to work every time. In fact we joke that nothing works 2x in a row - although that's not quite true - it does help to use a lot of variety.
Finally - after mastering the g-spot orgasm, it's not even her favorite!
There are two deeper spots called the a-spot (anterior fonix erogenous zone) that is at the juncture of the cervix and vagina - facing toward the belly button and the PFE-zone (posterior fornix erogenous zone) at the juncture of the cervix and vagina facing the spine.
These deeper spots tend to create stronger orgasms for my wife - and are also linked to increasing lubrication i.e. gushing. The most effective toys for this are the Njoy Eleven, G4 Big Boss and Vixskin Johnny & Maverick.
Toy sizes are personal - so luckily there are many similar designs in smaller sizes if that's what you need. BTW - even though my wife likes larger toys - she does not like me to use 2 fingers inside - go figure?
Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for all the great suggestions! It's especially good to know that variety is important. I put the Pure wand on our "must have" wishlist...
I do wish I could show her reviews as you did with your wife (what a great idea, btw!), but my wife HATES having to think about sex, or discussing it except during, especially when it's her pleasure. Even during, she just likes giving/receiving simple instructions (deeper, faster, YES!, etc). She'd be horrified if I printed out reviews.
She's also a bit of a toy-a-phobe. I just got the Love Handle and I'm hoping to try it on her soon. Good to know that Vixskin Johnny works well for you two. That's our favorite for pegging, so maybe she'll be willing to try it.
The last couple of times we've had sex, I've concentrated on that shallow area with one finger and we've had some success; she's had a couple of orgasms more powerful than any I can remember — really strong spasms and VERY appreciative noises!
