I honestly can't remember when I first learned about sex toys, though it was most likely between the ages of 12 and 15, since I know that I knew about them by the time I was 15 years old. My parents were always willing to answer questions I had about sex, but it was very rare for me to ask questions because I was extremely prudish growing up, so it couldn't have been from them (neither of them use toys, anyway).

Most likely, I bumped into the subject online during my period of looking at porn out of curiosity. I started wanting one of my own when I was 17 or so, and finally got my first at age 19.

When I was about 16 and my mother was worried I'd start having sex she bought me a plain basic vibrator and sorta just handed it to me and gave the vaguest explanation ever on how and why to use it. xD

I was never told about them specifically. I think the first time I saw them was either in Spencer's or in porn of some sort, when I was around 12 or 13. First toy I got was from Spencer's, but I don't remember how old I was! Something like 14 probably.

I was never really told about them as a child.

I did come in contact with though.

It's a little disturbing to be able to look back and realize that those cool heavy pretty painted marbles with bells inside that I liked so much (it felt cool holding and shaking them in my hand) were my mom's ben wa balls lol. And that damn "body" massager.

Ive seen them before as a kid in stores and on the tv, never knew what they were though ..

Probably when I was about 13...I had a fun sleepovers with the neighbor girl. You know how girls can be at that age I also found a dildo in my mom's room and tried to use it. But it was WAY too big for my body. So i figured out that it vibrated and I used it outside of my panties and hid it back into her room. Also around 14 being in school thats the age when everyone becomes perverts for the rest of their lives (whether we want to or not lol) SOOO... that's when I had hear about them from people in school. All of my close friends were people from church though so I never talked about what I heard with them.
