According to the research, if you believe any of the following things, you are at least mostly wrong:

Myths

* Women are needy and clingy in relationships.
* Guys don’t want to get married and have to be pushed into having kids.
* Older people don’t care about sex.
* Single parents have no social life.
* Young singles today are promiscuous.
* I love you implies a serious commitment.
* Unemployed means unlucky in love.
* Hook-ups never turn into relationships.

So what's your takeaway? Have they nailed it? How does this relate to your own experiences?

I'm not sure they have nailed it. It's not a good idea to assume that most women act and feel one way, and likewise for most men. Society changes. It always has and always will. Attitudes are not static.

It is also my opinion that an awful lot of people answer surveys in the way they think society dictates, meaning that they mirror the values that they think they should possess. But in truth, I think that very few of us know what we want until in comes time to have it.

Any untold number of men who took that survey and answered that they just want love will one day realize that they feel trapped.

Just as a plethora of women who answered that they value independence most of all, will one day wake up and be lonely.

He: Just remember: if she's on top, she can't get pregnant. Gravity is the best birth control.

She: Hard to make a blanket statement about anybody. I'm sure some women are clingy, but some men are too. He's the one who wants bio-kids, I'd rather adopt or not have any. I hate stereotypes.
