Jumping backwards before sunrise..?

Contributor: klyte klyte
I've heard the myth that jumping backwards before sunrise can stop a pregnancy, even if you're pregnant (early on.) I think I saw it on a movie somewhere once, has anyone else heard of this?

I've never heard of this and it sounds completely inane. I guess that's why it's only a myth.

I think the movie you are referring to is "Where The Heart Is." That line "Well, I jumped so far I had to take a bus back and then I had twins" always cracked me up.

now that is downright silly. nothing is going to stop you from getting pregnant except abstinance and condoms, even birth control pills have been proven to become faulty, as are condoms at times.
if you dont want to get pregnant, don't have sex, simple as that.
