Friends and partner know on purpose. My mom knows because I accidentally IMed her the link to my review page one night when meaning to send it to my partner. OOPS!

My husband and my mom were the only ones who knew for a long time. My mom is super conservative, but awesome. She's always asking if I've gotten any new toys lately. I eventually told my brother's fiance, but not my brother. I didn't want him having to think of his little sister that way, give him nightmares, etc. But I recently found out that his fiance told him about it a long time ago. Yay. I guess he was like "What?! No...are you serious...No way...Well, I'll bet (insert my husband's name here) is pretty happy." Haha.

I think my parents would be freaked out if they knew at first, but in the end they would probably just tease me about it also.
I would first have to convince them I am not gay or bi or anything like that. (At least so I would think. I am not sure if they would think a guy doing anal play meaning they are gay, which is totally false, but seems to be a common assumption.)

I don't talk to my dad much. I'm not sure I would tell him even if we did. Just because he'd throw a fit. I mean, at 17 I was pregnant and bought him a birthday card that had a hot chick on the front and said "Happy birthday! Hope you get a piece of..." on the front. Inside it said "Cake!" I honestly thought he was going to kill me that day. Heh.

my partner, my room mates, and a few other people.
We don't really bring it up unless we found something cool. Our friends now know who to come to for advise.
Both my cat and my partner's cat know. Her's is scared by them mostly and mine couldn't care less unless we got something to spank him with (Fetish cat!)
I think everyone's pets just feel sorry for them for not being able to use their tongues.

Well, my hubby and best friends are the ones who knew from the beginning and then my Dad came to see me. He HAD to put something in my drawer even though I said to stay the hell out of my room, and he found about half my stash and took photo and texted it to my Mom.
Lucky for me my Mom has a great sex life, so no harm no foul.

My parents know I have toys and aren't bothered by it (my mom is a snoop; they have a few things themselves), but I don't think they know that I review. I would like to talk to my mom about it, because I think she'd get a lot more out of her sex life if she introduced toys in the bedroom. Buttttt that day is probably far from now.

I'm getting more comfortable telling certain friends about it, and usually the response is positive. What's interesting, though, is that I've found that a few of my friends are totally fine with it when I talk to them about it one-on-one, but if we're with a group of people (who all know about my reviewing), they'll act all embarrassed and change the topic.
Funny story: The other day I was talking to a friend of mine and she told me she and another male friend were talking about sex toys, and he recommended EF to her. She said, "My friend writes reviews for that website!" And apparently, he was very jealous

My Husband, Life Partner, Sister and some friends know. I think my Life Partner's parents know as well though I'm not sure how much since they have been rpesent during some conversations we've had about my reviews or products in general...oh and they've read Gary's reviews. He's famous in Canada as well!

My husband and my bestie know, especially since my bestie is also an EF contributor. My cousin knows about it and jokes around(I think it makes him uncomfortable). I don't know if I'd be ready to tell my mother-in-law about it. She knows we have toys(she found them when putting away laundry while my hubby still lived at home), but I don't know how she'd feel about it.

I've told a couple people - definitely my boyfriend. I mentioned it to a couple friends on campus; they were jealous and want to check out the site themselves. I've also had a friend volunteer to help me test a toy. I'm still a little on the fence, but intrigued that she was so eager.

I picked a few. My hubby of course. My mom, who probably didn't want to know. A couple online friends. Although if any one else found out they probably wouldn't be surprised. I used to write and review erotic romance so this is just a short step over and up.
