One of the best things you can do for yourself and your body is to get a good night’s rest each night. Various statistics state that we spend about 1/3 of our life in bed. Taking this into consideration, it is therefore important that we choose the best bed (a/k/a carpet! [it was a play on words]) to refresh ourselves to meet our healthy needs. What SIZE and BRAND of bed do you own and any special features you like?

I wish I could get my husband to agree! I sleep on a mattress we got at a garage sale a few years ago for $10. It works pretty well!

king xl costly but amazing

we needed it because of our 2 very large cats who take up more room than we do

Full size Englander I picked up at a thrift store a few years ago, hardly used. I'm finding I don't sleep on most of it and it's too firm, so I'll give it to my mother (who likes firm beds) and just get a softer twin for myself.

We have a 75-100 year old full size bed that belonged to my great-grandmother. We both hate it because it creaks really loudly and the mattresses are ones I've had since I was a kid. The size fits us and our apartment well, but we'd love a new bed if we could afford one.

We have a generic memory foam bed from BJ's

We have a king size. I find that we need it. We normally share the bed with 2 cats and a 80 lb pit who takes up the space of easily 2 people when he sleeps!

Serta Perfect Day. WE got the HUGE THICK mattress...would not do that again. Too hard to find sheets, but WOULD get another Serta. Has nice memory foam and a GREAT overall sleep experience...plus supportive enough for everything else we enjoy.

I practically have a carpet on the floor! You can feel ALL of the bars on my futon. :-/

I LOVE my mattresses. The sterns and foster we have is delicious to sleep in. Like a cloud. It's huge, and it can be tough to find sheets but not so difficult. The thing that's the real pain about it is that it's heavy as a motherfucker and you can hardly move it. I dont know how we managed to get one upstairs.

I got mine 3rd hand from a friend. It's ok. I think it's a queen? Or something? I don't know how to tell the difference.

Nice answer! I should have thought of it; I've been there once or twice myself in the past; not exactly by choice!!

I voted "Other" because I sleep on a pull-out couch. It is the worst thing ever and I don't recommend it to anyone EVER. I always hated these things when I had to sleep on them temporarily. Now it's every night! I wish I had another choice. -_-"

I sleep on a king sized futon at home! I love it!

We have a nice mattress from Denver Mattress. However, if we had our "dream mattress", we'd have a Simmons Beautyrest Gold Class. Those are amazing! No more "sinking" feelings.

we have a nice pillow top mattress, cant remember the brand. but it was expensive. Its about 13 years old, and still feels almost brand new.

I have a Sealy queen pillow top. I like a soft bed, and I wanted a bigger bed than a full. I figure a mattress is at least a 10-year investment, and I will hopefully be married again in the next 10 years. Sharing a full-size mattress for more than a few weeks is not fun.
